The useful discomfort

Starting early exposes the parts of an idea that thinking alone cannot resolve. A rough interface, a written premise or a working prototype gives uncertainty a shape.

That shape is useful. It can be tested, questioned and changed. The work stops being a private theory and becomes a conversation.

Clarity is often the result of making, not the requirement for it.

A smaller first move

Building before feeling ready does not mean ignoring craft. It means choosing a first version small enough to teach you something.

The aim is not to rush the final outcome. It is to shorten the distance between an idea and honest feedback.
